Member of Parliament Sharmarke Hassan Ganey, one of Hirshabelle Parliament, called on the commanders of the security forces of Baladweyne city to resign if they cannot prevent the explosions.
MP Sharmarke said that it is regrettable that successive explosions occur in the city of Baladweyne while the security commanders like the Security Police are present and no one has been arrested and prosecuted for the previous ones.
In addition, the MP called on the President of Hirshabelle Ali Gudlawe Hussein that his role should not be limited to condolence and share the suffering of the people of Baladweyne who were affected by the tragedy.
Finally, the Somali government called for help to the people who have suffered.
