Baidoa The Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres has strongly condemned the Al-Shabaab attacks in Bedelweyne, which have confirmed the death of 22 people and the number of injured.
The spokesperson of the Secretary General Stethan Dujarric said that the Secretary General of the United Nations sent his condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and the people of Somalia.
He said the United Nations is committed to working with regional and other international organizations to support the people and government of Somalia in building a peaceful country.
Three explosions in Beledweyne were carried out in three different vehicles by suicide bombers
Among those who died in these explosions are Hir Shabelle Health Minister Zakariye Hurre and Hiran Regional Deputy Governor Abukar Sheikh Maadey.
